With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John James Angelle of Katy, Texas, born in Cecilia, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bobby Angelle, Berton Angelle and Beverly Angelle Latiolais; and his son-in-law Etienne Boone. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Stelly Angelle; his children, Trent Angelle (Kathy), Kyle Angelle (Laura) and Kimberly Angelle Smalligan (Rodney); his sister Earline Angelle Latiolais (Francis); his grandchildren, Shea Angelle Coniglio (Tony), Alex Boone (Baily), Cole Angelle (Brittany Flanel), Matthew Boone (Emily), Conner Angelle, Addison Angelle, Payton Angelle, Brooke Garrison Bandy (James), Reid Smalligan and Riley Smalligan; and his great grandchildren, Blakely Boone, Stoney Boone, Ellis Bandy and Briar Boone.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A prayer was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fellowship Church (22765 Westheimer Parkway 77450).
