It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeff Edens of Katy, Texas, born in Spokane, Washington, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Edens and Mary Edens. He is also survived by his brother, sister, 2 daughters, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

“Jeff was one of my Dad’s best and oldest friends. Jeff and I shared the same birthday (many years apart!), and he was always a presence in my Dad’s (Bill Grant) life since before I was born. For decades I believe, he ate at the House of Pies on Westheimer every day—they even had his stationery at the front counter! I learned of Jeff’s passing today, and I know he will be missed by many.
