It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janell Hines of Katy, Texas, born in Normangee, Texas, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Cora Westmoreland; her husband Col. Thomas F. Hines; her parent P. A. Westmoreland (Pink); her brother Charles Westmoreland; her cousins, Hazel and Tommy Smith; and her nephew Keith Heine.
She is survived by: her children, Bob, Laura, Ross, Chris, Scott, Matt, Pam Johnson, Janet Smith (Dale) and Cliff Hager (Chris); her grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Colt Smith, Kayla Hager Long (Jason) and Collin Hager; her great grandchild Layla Winter; and her sister Rose Ann Heine (Fred).
