We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2023, at the age of 92, James Powell Sharbrough of Katy, Texas, born in Overton, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otho Sharbrough and Lillie Beatrice Propes; his wife Wanda Jean Scott; and his siblings, Lottie Sharbrough Francis and William Calvin "Bill" Sharbrough (Otha Cullen "Red" Sharbrough).
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Sharbrough Bailey (John) of Industry, Texas, James Bryan "Beau" Sharbrough (Christine Sweet) of Dallas, Texas, Richard Scott "Rick" Sharbrough (Leslie Dunlap) of Katy, Texas and Carter Ray "Corky" Sharbrough of Katy; his grandchildren, Jamie Elise Bailey (Kiley Sims), Eryn Catheryn Bailey Davoody (Ferridhun), Carolyn Shea Bailey, Bailey Joy Sharbrough White (Cody), McKenna Sharbrough Sutton and James Richard Sharbrough; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Owen, Margaret and Jasper Davoody; and his grandchild Artemis White.
