He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tees and Mildred Kitchen (Chadwick); his wife Joan Kitchen (Carey); his sister Joanne Hines; and his former wife Marie Hoopes-Kitchen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Kitchen Backus (Thomas) of Atlanta, GA and Karen Kitchen Studer of Katy, TX.; and his girlfriend Anne O'Connor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
