It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jake Allen Simmer of Katy, Texas, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Janet Simmer. He is survived by: his parents, Tara Simmer and Rickey Simmer II; his sisters, Kaytlin Simmer and Jacklyn Simmer; his grandparents, Gary Lauderdale, Gayle Lauderdale and Rickey Simmer I; his stepgrandmother Rebecca Southerland Simmer; his aunts, Tonya Harper, Tiffany Phillips and Jeannine Lobb; his uncle George Phillips; and his cousins, Logan Harper, Kelsey Thompson, Colby Harper, Auden Phillips, Nolen Phillips, Zachary Thornhill, Ashley Thornhill and Gabrielle Thornhill.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) on Jake Simmer's behalf are greatly appreciated.
