He is survived by: his wife Darlene Jean Nippert; his sons, Allen (Pam) of Pittsboro, NC and Jody (Michelle) of Richmond, TX; his grandchildren, Sarah, David, Hannah, Tyler and Kaelynn; and his brothers, Jeff and Dan.
