He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Sanford; his children, Debra Denson (Bill) and Michael Sanford (Melissa); his grandchildren, Christopher Sanford, Jeffrey Sanford, Phillip Patterson, Jacquelin Denson and Nicholas Denson; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Patterson, Lilah Patterson, Magnolia Sanford and Oakley Patterson; and his sisters, Marie McCoy and Linda Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
