It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esperanza Chacon (Katy, Texas), who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Concepcion Ramirez and Lucas Plascencia; her husband Onesimo Torres, Sr.; her sisters, Isidra Plascencia, Cointa Plascencia, Matea Plascencia and Encarnacion Plascencia; and her daughter Dr. Margarita Torres.
She is survived by: her sisters, Catalina and Tirsa Plascencia; and her children, Leoncio Torres (Rosa), Maria Elena Gonzalez (Jose), Leonor Torres, Lourdes Torres, Eduardo Torres, Onesimo Torres (Maria Evangelina), Maria Torres (Manuel Capeles) and Lucas Torres (Kasia). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
