He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lee Wheeler (Coffman); his children, Richard Nelson Wheeler, Jeannette Jo Glass (Wheeler), Jina Melissa Wheeler, Ernest Nelson Wheeler, Jr., Michael Lee Williams, John Edward Wheeler, Cayden Michael Wheeler and Alexis Renee Wheeler; and his sister Patricia Lynn Young (Wheeler). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
