As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Equilla may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eph French and Alzader Miller; and her son John Fletcher. She is survived by: her children, Delphine Holloway (Curtis) and Andrew Hicks; her grandson Terrance Holloway, Sr.; her great grandchildren, Terrelle Holloway, Jolan Holloway and Terrance Holloway, Jr.; her great great grandchildren, T. J., Delila and Adonis; and her niece Jacquelyn Smith. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the First Colony Church of Christ (2140 First Colony Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479).
