He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd McCarty and Norma McCarty. He is survived by: his wife Joan McCarty of Katy, TX; his children, David McCarty (Monica) of Oakland, CA and Kelly Moore (Ken) of Katy, TX; his grandchildren, Reid McCarty, Maxine McCarty, Lindsay Moore and Darren Moore; and his siblings, James McCarty (Linda) of Kennewick, WA, Tim McCarty (Gabe) and Sharon Cook of Redlands, CA. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to MD Anderson Cancer Center or the American Heart Association.
