We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2024, at the age of 81, Carole R. DeGruy (Katy, Texas), born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Hammell and Charles Hammell. She is survived by: her sibling Debbi Dauth. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Texas Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
