It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carole M Buchanan of Katy, Texas, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Eugene Morton and Esther Morton; her brother Roy Morton Jr.; and her husband Ralph Taylor Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Bissinger (Ron) and Mark Buchanan (Elizabeth); her granddaughter Christina Bissinger; her niece Jennifer Fahey (Jim); her great-niece Patricia; her nephew Roy Morton III; her great-nephew Roy IV; and her children, DeeDee, Butch and Wichita. She is also survived by cousins on her mother.
She lived through some of the Great Depression, the bank failures of 1932, World War II, the Dust Bowl, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, then later of course through 9/11 and the COVID-19 Pandemic.
