He is survived by: his daughter Deshria Jospeh; his grandson Derwin Lightfoot Jr.; his close friend Stephanie Broussard; and his siblings, Gerald Sr., David Whitney, Freddie, Joseph, John Connors, Marva, Kimberly, Sara and Connie.
