It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Godfrey of Katy, Texas, born in Red Oak, Iowa, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Donald Godfrey and Mardelle Lois Hedemann Godfrey. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Jean Marvin; his wife Pat Godfrey of Katy; his children, Mike Godfrey of Houston, Katie Elliott (Paul) of Katy and Sarah Godfrey of Katy; his grandchildren, Hannah Elliott, Luke Elliott and Madelyn Elliott; and his siblings, Gary Godfrey (Diane) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Cindy Lindquist (Paul) of Waunakee, Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and many friends.
