With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Joyce Harris of Katy, Texas, born in Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on November 14, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, J. D. Harris III, Julian Harris (Heidi), LaShonne Harris, Justin Harris (Crystal) and Regis Gordon (Chantal); her siblings, Linda Cole, Charles Albert Sr. and Herman Sapp (Leslie); her sister-in-law Paulette Albert; her godchildren, Terry Burrel, Fredericka Young and LaQuinta Frank; and also Dr. Shaundra Webb. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
