He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gerstenberger and Rose Gerstenberger; his wife Colleen Gerstenberger; his siblings, William Gerstenberger, Fred, Edd Gerstenberger and Lucille Kunkel; and his son Bennie "Rusty" Gerstenberger.
He is survived by: his son Michael Gerstenberger (Linda); and his grandson Matthew Gerstenberger (Rachael).
