He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mariano Acosta and Acencion Acosta; his brother Aaron Acosta; his wife Tracy Acosta; his daughter Karina Janish Acosta (Dustin James Janish); his grandson Uriah Hudson Janish of Bellville; his daughter Maria Santos Acosta; his granddaughters, Maria Loren Acosta and Annabelle Acosta Brewster of Washington; his stepson David Patrick Smith (Shelley Ann Smith); his children, Samuel Cooper and Georgia Grace Smith of Bryan; his stepson Joshua Prentice Smith (Melanie Leanne Smith); his children, Aiden Prentice and Laycee Leanne Smith of Katy; and his stepson Zachary Paul Self (Kari Rhea Self) of Bellville. He was also cherished by Two brothers, six sisters, three nieces, four nephews, and a great nephew.
