She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ysidro Garcia and Lilia Castro; her children, Mary Jane Benitez, Jody Doty (Stephen Kowald), Pete Doty (Sunni), Rebecca Huizar and Ruby Conner; and her grandchildren, Ariana Olivares, Austin Olivares, Anissa Olivares, Delaney Kowald, Ava Lily Kowald, Paige Doty and Holly Doty.
