Robert Gibbens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gibbens (Karnes City, Texas), who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Laquita; his parents, Pete Gibbens and Maggie Gibbens; his brothers, John and Sid Gibbens; and his sister-in-law Jo Gibbens.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Kay (Tim Backlund) of Boerne and Robert Gibbens, Jr. (Shelley) of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Kate Gibbens of Fredericksburg, Meg Barrett (Ginger) of San Angelo, Lacey Barrett (Andrew) of San Antonio and Austin Backlund (Angel) of San Antonio; his great grandchildren, Brynley, Kolten, Nora and Mona; and his sister-in-law Lou Gibbens of Bulverde. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews.
