He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin, Sr. Waltersdorf and Dollie Smart Waltersdorf; and his siblings, Shirly Kay Waltersdorf, Sharon Waltersdorf, Francis Donnell, Doris Buehring, Eddie Rose Waltersdorf, Marvin Waltersdorf, Jr., Alton Waltersdorf and Lawrence Waltersdorf.

He is survived by: his sisters, Rachel Krawietz of Karnes City, Barbara Creek of Karnes City and Elizabeth Boelter of Kenedy; and his cousin Cecil (Cheryl Reveile). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
