He is survived by: his wife Janie Barrientez of Tulia; his children, Miracle Barrientez of Tulia, Stelaine Delgado of Amarillo, Rene Barrientez, Jr. (Stephanie) of Tulia, Robert Barrientez (Lisa) of San Antonio and Adam Barrientez (Veronica) of Tulia; his grandchild Ezekiel Barrientez of Tulia; and his sister Rosanna Barrientez Ramirez of Karnes City. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
