He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Pete Palitza and Pauline Pawelek Palitza; his aunt Magdeline Pawelek; his uncle Leo Pawelek; and his brother-in-law Mike Moody.
He is survived by: his siblings, Agnes Moody, Rose Hopper (Mike), Carrie Lynn Harris (John), Bernice Eichman (Charles), Lucille Smith (Jeronimo Alvear), Felix Palitza and Christie Wozniak (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
