She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Hayes and Melba Hayes; her daughter Carrie Lynn Schmidt; her brother Jim Hayes; and her husband Smitty Schmidt.
She is survived by: her son Jason Schmidt (Samantha); and her grandchildren, Peyton Schmidt, Kaeden Schmidt, Brogan Schmidt, Rowdi Jo Schmidt, Twyster Schmidt and Kooper Schmidt.
