He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Aguero and Maria Aguero; and his siblings, Felipe Aguero Jr. and Maria Victoria Aguero. He is survived by: his wife Consuelo R. Aguero; his children, Jose Aguero Jr. (Marie), Mark Aguero and Anna Gonzales (Augustine); his stepsons, Carlos R. Cano (Linda) and James R. Cano (Betsy); his siblings, Ester Rodriguez, Leticia Amaro (Hector), Martha Aguero, Olga Aguero and Miguel Angel Aguero; and his grandchildren, Patrick Aguero, Zachary Aguero, James Cano, Jeremy Cano, Julissa Cano, Lauren Ashley Cano, Skylar Cano, Aidan Gonzales and Augustine Gonzales Jr.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
