He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Alvarado of Fredericksburg, Rebecca Rodriguez of San Antonio, Gabriel Rodriguez, III (Gina) of Fredericksburg and Toby Rodriguez of Elmendorf; his grandchildren, Ashley of San Antonio, Daphne of San Antonio, Alec (Kaitlyn) of Floresville, Adam, San Antonio, Toby Joe, Amanda of Elmendorf, Bailey of New Braunfels, Gabriel, IV and Bella of Fredericksburg; his great grandchildren, Alannah, Raelynn, Aspen, Tinsley and John Abel; and his siblings, Gloria Rodriguez of San Antonio, Arturo (Irene Rodriguez) of San Antonio, Eloy (Marina Rodriguez) of Karnes City, Robert (Christy Rodriguez) of Karnes City and Ruben of Karnes City.
