He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brown and Trinidad Lazano Brown; his former wife Jessie Mae Brown; and his son Mike Brown. He is survived by: his wife Velma Harden Brown; his children, Charlene O'Neal, Janet Duelly, Eddie Brown, Chris Brown, Patric Brown and Jennifer B. Hernandez; his sister Mary Rice; and his stepsons, Kirby Haertner, Herb Haertner and David Haertner. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
