She was predeceased by: her father Norman Covey; her grandparents, Clarence Brownlee, Juanita Brownlee and Inez Loftis; and her nephew Matthew Mears.
She is survived by: her mother JoAnn Covey of Marshall, TX; her sister Norma Mears of Avinger, TX; her sons, Carson Harper of Karnack, TX and Covey Beaird of Greenwood, LA; her nephew Chris Mears of Jefferson, TX; her uncle William Loftis of Dallas, TX; and also Jesse Disotell of Blanchard, LA.
