He is survived by: his siblings, Willie Mae Jones of Uncertain, Doris Lewis (William) of Dallas, Rosie Irving (Robert) of Karnack, Odetta Rudd (John Oliver) of Uncertain, Texas and Ray Jones (Amanda) of Columbia; his aunt Nadine Steptoe of Houston, Texas; and his nieces, Debra Jones of Uncertain, Denisha Jones of Marshall and Marquita Jones of Longview.
