He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Hensley and Shirley Grigsby Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Penny Viola; his children, Scotty Bison of Shreveport, Jamie Bison (April) of Shreveport, Trisha Monsaco (Jimmy) of Karnack, Clint Bison (Amanda) of Shreveport and Shyan Hensley of Longview; and his brother Keith Hensley (Amy) of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
