It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Jane Slaughter of Karnack, Texas, born in Avinger, Texas, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richard Hughes and Inza Lee Renfro Hughes; her husband Billy T. Slaughter; and her grandson Ronnie Ricoy. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Graham, Martha Brown and Kathleen Hunt; her grandchildren, Maxwell Kridakorn (Jenny, family: Chandler Graham) and Amanda Dallas (Derek, family: Victoria Losoya, Christine Ricoy, Abigail Slaughter, Chris Hunt); and her great grandchildren, Emily Kridakorn, Seth Emanis and Allen Emanis.
