It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman Howard Young of Justin, Texas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Jones and Marjorie Young (Barr); and his wife Lana Young of Dallas, TX.. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Lannette Simpkins (John Simpkins) of Austin, TX and Wade Allan Young (Kristin) of Arlington, TX.; his grandchildren, Madeline Faith Simpkins, Gabriella Grace Simpkins, Samantha Hope Simpkins, Harrison Grant Young and Lacy Connelley Young; and his siblings, William Young, Cynthia Keller and Ronald Young. He is also survived by his mother, aunts, and uncles.
Donations may be made in Howard Young's name to First Baptist Church Justin. These donations will be set apart to help others in our community pay medical expenses associated with the Covid virus.
