He is survived by: his wife Christina Fluitt Echols; his son Ronald "RJ" Echols III; his siblings, Rhonda Hobson (David Hobson), Sheryl Echols (Greg Saari) and Jack "J. R."; his parents-in-law, Larry and Trish Fluitt; his sisters-in-law, Melissa Jones (Chase Jones), Miranda Dinkle (Mark Stanich) and Emily Fluitt (James Coulter); his nieces and nephews, Justin Echols of David Hobson, III, Jonathan Echols, Kaci Jones, Zane Eiland, Autumn Jones, Ryean Jones, Tinsley Jones and Niko Stanich; and his cousins, Eugene Fowler (Judy Fowler), Marla Zachary and Rusty Blasingame. He is also survived by Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a dependent fund has been established with Wells Fargo Bank, to benefit his son RJ.
