He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gibbs and Martha Baughman Gibbs; and his siblings, Alvin, Jess, John, Eff, Sammy, George, Cranel, Andy, Hugh, Roy, Amos Gibbs, Agnes Madewell and Zula Walker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Trussell of Sanger and Lisa Cate (Brent) of Justin; his grandchildren, Misti Skidmore (Larry) of Justin, Melisa Lauderdale (Chris) of Ponder, Brad Trussell (Shelly) of Ponder and Bryan Cate (Marie) of Justin; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Isabella Skidmore, Sydne Jones, Deacon, Taylor Pearl Lauderdale, Bryson, Braydon Cate and Myla Trussell; and his siblings, Luther Gibbs and Dorothy Moppin of Tontitown, Arkansas.
Any donations can be made in Omer's name to Justin Volunteer Fire Department or First Baptist Church Justin.
