She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Lee Mize and Hannah Marie Hargis; her husband Edd Schuyler Phelps, Sr.; her son Edd Schuyler Phelps, Jr.; and her siblings, J. Bird, Lawrence, Evelyn and Elsie.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wayne Phelps (Xin) of Tallahassee and Karen Sue Phelps of Northlake; her siblings, Clinton Phelps of Kentucky and Eula Brown of Cincinnati; and her grandchildren, Jessica Phelps and Jackson Phelps. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
