It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Sue Burgess of Justin, Texas, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Arvile, Clarabelle Hickey, Everett and Allene Akin; and her parents, Charley Akin and Janelle Akin.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather Mitchell of Booneville, AR; her siblings, Patty Scott (Larry) of Denton, TX and Jay Akin of Yukon; her niece Amy Melhorn (Grant); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Christian, Claire and Preston of Northlake, TX..
