She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Edward and Irene Underhill (Stahn); and her brother Edward William Underhill. She is survived by: her daughter Kat Thompson; her grandchildren, Amber Nichole Flynt and Kyle Ligon Flynt; her great grandchild Madisyn Irene Le; her sister Janice Brown; and her nephews, Monroe and Ashley Marburger.

She was a retired bookkeeper who worked for The American Cancer Society.
