She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert George and Doris Faye Bode (Watson); her parents-in-law, Sherwood Hornsby and Bernice Hornsby; and her son-in-law Brian Newton.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Ray Hornsby; her daughter Robin Zane Newton; and her grandchildren, Elyssa McCain, Kylie Burney and Jaden Hardesty.
