With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rilla Spiller Wright (Junction, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on January 14, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ethel Mears Spiller; her husband Charles Wright, Jr.; her children, Robert Mears Wright and Dorcas Wright Sulek; her mother-in-law Thelma Wright Umbenhour; and her siblings-in-law, Montrose Madison Wolf and Barbara Lee Spiller.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Wright, III (Patty Fair Wright) of Gunter, TX and Kimberly Wright Burandt of Fishersville, VA; her grandson Jeffrey Charles Burandt (Shelley Reyne Ruchti); her great grandchild Vesper June Burandt of Brooklyn, NY; her grandchildren, Joseph Wright Sulek of Austin, TX and Caroline Sulek (Alex Kennedy); her great grandchild Henry William Sulek of Little Elm; her siblings, Sandra Spiller Wolf of Lawrence, KS and Rob Roy Spiller of Junction, TX; and her cousin Jo Bess Jackson of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, their spouses, great-nieces and great-nephews.
