He is survived by: his wife Patsy Smith Aaron; his sons, Mike Elam of Arkansas and Richard Elam of Junction; his granddaughter Katelynn Elam; his stepchildren, Audrey Sellers and Coy Aaron; and his brothers, Butch Elam of Ira and Jack Elam of Snyder. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
