He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Thompson (Edens); his friends, Sonny and Donna Price; his daughters, Jeanie Thompson and Teresa Grant (Michael); his grandchildren, Joe Thompson (Vanessa), Brayden Thompson (Averie), Elissa Thompson of Coahoma, Kelsey Grant and Tanner Grant of Lubbock, TX; his great grandchildren, Stetson Thompson of Coahoma, Parker Thompson of Coahoma, Tucker Thompson of Coahoma and Maverick Park of Coahoma; and his siblings, Diane Macke (Chuck), Carla Weaver of Abilene and Dean Thompson.
