She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Milton Curtis Bierschwale; and her parents, Rev. Malcolm Purcell and Inez Purcell. She is survived by: her sons, Bill (Lori) of Tennessee, David (Carol) of Montana and John (Nancy) of Colorado; and her brother John Purcell (Nita). She is also survived by five grandchildren.
