She was predeceased by : her husband Rev. Milton Curtis Bierschwale; and her parents, Rev. Malcolm Purcell and Inez Purcell. She is survived by : her sons, Bill (Lori) of Tennessee, David (Carol) of Montana and John (Nancy) of Colorado; and her brother John Purcell (Nita). She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fredericksburg Funeral Home (2278 S US Hwy 87, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Presbyterian Church (607 N Milam St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Junction City Cemetery (100 W Rio Vista St, Junction, TX 76849).
