Newman of Junction, Texas; her brother Russell Phillips (Myndee) of Barksdale, Texas; her daughters, Melody Plumley (Carter) of Junction and Melissa Newman (Michael) of San Antonio, Texas; and her granddaughters, Baylee Plumley and Angelina Ashby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
