He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett L. Stewart and Cecilia Carson Stewart; and his brother Dennis. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Carpenter; his children, Cathy Brock (Arthur) of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Jerry Stewart (Penny) of Junction; his brother Gerald of Manassas, Virginia; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Allen of Brady, Jay Carpenter (Elaine) of Junction, Jimmy Carpenter of Temple and Roy Carpenter (Cheryl) of Temple. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
