He was predeceased by : his parents, Bertie Merle Brown Doss and Walter Turner Doss; his siblings, Arthur, Luella, Mary, Geneva, Gertrude and Velma; and his granddaughter Tamara Lynn.

He is survived by : his brother Damon Daniel Doss; and his children, Dolores Denise, Dennis Roy, Daniel Ray, Donald Wayne and Samantha D'Ann. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
