He is survived by : his wife Leta Fay Daughtrey; his children, Deborah and Ronald; his close friend Janice Haag; his daughter Debbie (Jim); and his grandchildren, Kayla and Travis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to the National Kidney Foundation or any Senior Citizen Meals on Wheels or program to assist children in need.
