With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David K. Akers (Junction, Texas), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 19, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeannette H. Akers and Kenneth W. Akers; and his wife Margaret Hardy Farmer. He is survived by: his brothers, Robert and Bruce; his children, Carol Akers (Andy Morriss), Ken Akers (Suzanne Akers) and Susan Rendon (George Rendon); and his grandchildren, Kathleen Morriss, Julia Woislaw, Carolyn, Kenny Akers, Matthew and Olivia Rendon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
