He was predeceased by: his parents, Rob Bowers and Margaret Bowers; his son Chuck Bowers; and his brother Bill McElhaney. He is survived by: his wife Kay Parker; his sister Margaret Bowers; his daughters, Leah Hornecker and Laura Weathersby; his stepchildren, Belinda Martin, Carolyn Bannowsky and Tate Bannowsky; and his close friends, Charlie Craig, Le Le, Steve Couey, Trace Martinez, Tony Nowak, Bobby Murr, Wade Kimble and Ray Hawthorne. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
