He was predeceased by : his parents, Lonnie Filmore and Linnie Lambright Johnson; his wife Betty Dyer; his sister Jackie Phillips; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Raley and Denver Lopez.

He is survived by : his children, Judy Raley (Olan), Sherry Murr (Bobby), Nancy Chapman (Bill) and Aubrey Clinton Johnson, Jr. (Billie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
